How To Consign |

Small Items |
|
|
No photos or prior scheduling is required to bring up to 15 small items for sale at Alter Home.
Consignors might be asked to leave merchandise in the store with a list of items, so that items will be priced
and entered into the system at the time when consignment desk associate is available.

|
Large Furniture Items |
|
|
- First, we must review photos of the furniture
(Click here to send us pictures)
and all the
information provided about the age, brand,
condition and original purchase price of the merchandise.
|
|
|
- Based on provided information the potential consignor within 24
hours will be advised whether merchandise is acceptable for sale at Alter Home
and if so what an estimated selling price range is.
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- The consignment term is 90 days.
- Merchandise will be displayed in the showroom at all times.
- The consignor will be paid 50% of the selling price.
- Merchandise not sold in 30 days will be marked down 15% from the original price.
- Merchandise not sold in 60 days will be marked down an additional 15% from the original price.
- Consignor�s checks will be mailed by the 10th of the month for the previous month sales.

- Occasionally, depending on whether there is space in the store,
large furniture items might be accepted for sale at Alter Home without
prior review. However, Alter Home reserves the right not to accept
the merchandise without giving any reasons or explanations.
